International Summer Workshop 2010 - muse 010

The fourth Summer Workshop of Tanzplan Dresden will take place at Palucca Schule Dresden - Hochschule für Tanz from July 26th to August 6th, 2010. Fully booked courses are indicated in our online form. A few more course places... 

On offer are contemporary trainings and ballet classes as well as improvisation courses at different levels for professional dancers and dance students. ANTROPOMORFIA (Adaptation) at Albertinum, Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden, Germany

As a part of the events of the reopening of the Albertinum in Dresden Leandro Kees and his team will show 

3 perfomances June 26th 2010.

In line with the Tanzplan Dresden project "Emerging young choreographers" Leandro Kees and his team created here in Dresden during 6 weeks the piece ANTROPOMORFIA, which premiered at semper kleine szene Dresden June 11th 2010.

In the halation of the Albertinum Leandro Kees and his team will show a modified part of ANTROPOMORFIA.

Grants for 5 non-german dance students for muse 010

The Palucca Schule Dresden – Hochschule für Tanz and Tanzplan Dresden awards five grants for the muse 010 Summer Workshop to non-german dance students registered at a college outside Germany specializing in dance. 

The grants include financial support for travel and accommodation, full coverage of course fees, as well as insurance for the duration of the Workshop. 

The five dancers who have been selected to achieve the DAAD grant are Victoria Lauren Bek (USA), Spencer Gregory Dickhaus (USA), Malwina Stepien (PL/A), Olga Swietlicka (PL/A) and Jelena Vujicic (SRB/CDN).

Teams for Creative Residencies 2010

Tanzplan Dresden has awarded three Creative Residency grants to young choreographers. 

Tanzplan Dresden received more than 50 applications from all over the world. The Jury made their decision mid of March. The teams of the German choreographer Hanna Hegenscheidt, of Věra Ondrašíková, choreografer from the Czech Republic and the french choreographer Gregory Edelein convinced the jury with their concepts. Each team will continue developing their latest work during the Summer Workshop muse 010 at Palucca Schule Dresden – Hochschule für Tanz from July 26th to August 6th, 2010.
