Palucca Schule Dresden – Hochschule für Tanz
Good news: Dresden is developing into a centre of contemporary dance. Tanzplan Dresden supports young, eager artists in this process.
Every year Tanzplan Dresden hosts a winter course for improvisation ”ImproWinter” and an interdisciplinary summer workshop “Sommerwerkstatt” inviting both international and local guest artists. As part of the summer workshop, Tanzplan Dresden supports creative residencies for young artist in the development of new dance productions. Tanzplan Dresden also curates an annual production for the semper kleine szene and for the Festspielhaus Hellerau.
Once again the theme of ImproWinter 09 is about expanding boundaries: playful, experimental, immediate, provocative, risky, direct, funny, unpredictable, diversified and surprising, artistically consequent...
a tribute and challenge to the moment.

On Monday, 09.02.09 at 1:30 pm, we invite all course participants and teachers to a short greeting at "Grüner Saal" of Palucca-Schule.
Movie night
On Wednesday, 11.02.09, the producer and filmmaker Lutz Gregor will provide an insight into his work. The entrance for participants and guests is free.
Public presentation
The public presentation of ImproWinter 09 will take place on Friday, 13.02.09 between 7:30 and 9:00 pm at "Grüner Saal" of Palucca-Schule. Courses will provide an insight into their work. The entrance for participants and guests is free.
